YI Camera Fail

Thanks Bob -- that video looks real helpful.

What's so initially discouraging is that he documentation booklet that comes with the camera Has a "How to Use the Camera" section that says (1) Turn on the Camera (2) Connect to YI Action Camera App . . . . etc. There's no indication at all of how to use the camera without using the app, so it looks like it's required -- especially since you're greeted with that cryptic "unlock" screen that doesn't really serve any locking purpose.

This still leaves me unable to update the Firmware on the Camera, which I hope won't be necessary, since the badly translated online directions look pretty hard to follow.

Not sure I'd recommend the YI for iPhone users if there's another known camera that's suitable.

. . . but it looks like this will work as is for the time being, so thanks again!
