How do you define a containment game?

Thanks for the feedback and the examples so far. I refined my function and description here
Let's call the one trying to catch/keep that straggler attacker and the other one defender

- contact position
- defender has all checker but the 1 or 2 straggler in his home board
- defenders straggler are between 13 or before
- attacker has not a checker caught being behind a prime of at least 5 points. I think that is not a containment game anymore
- attacker must at least trail by 25 pips
