An easier way...

The reason the draw takes so long and delays the start of play is because it's done with 15th Century methods.
A computer draw would take, oh, probably a few hundred nanoseconds.
Don't trust computer draw? Make the sourcecode available. Can't understand the sourcecode? Whose problem is that?
With today's fast (and cheap) printers, you could give every player a copy of the drawsheet. Then during the first round the staff can transcribe onto a large sheet (the kind used today) for official results.
