I can't figure out who would play an opening 3-1 as 31U. No matter the score, or situation, GG,GS,DMP,$, I make the 5 pt after starting out 3-1. I guess the play is merely to illustrate the 3rd roll positions.

Thanks for posting these rollouts though, they are quite illustrative of the power of the golden point, whether you own or your opponents.

Have you rolled out 54S, 66P, 31 and 54S, 66P, 42 yet?
