This was just my first try. I started out looking for models with QX9650 and found very few below $3k. (That's because, as mentioned previously, war/fantasy/role-playing gamers go all out on every component.) Then I found out that the Q9650 is just as good (for 95+% of users). But at that point I just continued to configure this HP business system.

My next attempt will be to find other configurable system(s) with the Q9650 that are lower cost but still as reliable, etc.
