That's a nice offer. Actually it's not for me, though. Others here (see threads from this weekend) are wanting rollout racecars.

I've put together two systems myself with OK results (one motherboard died but that may have been my fault -- potential Electro-Static Discharge or other damage when "cleaning" with a vacuum cleaner. :(

The commercial manufactured systems shouldn't be too far behind in $ and there is some assurance/insurance/etc. from that route, I believe. As mentioned in another post, this was just my first pass.

BTW, I mention something you know (but maybe others here don't) that the Q9650 has a 6::5 speed advantage in native clockspeed over the Q9300 (which I have, BTW, in my latest homebuilt system). Whether or not that's worth the extra $300+ is up to the individual user, of course.
