If B has to play out an entire game to win 2 points every time A will come out ahead.

Exactly. Doesnt even need to drop everything. Just take the easy take, change style of play to absolute GS, take it easy on all plays.

Its basically a change of style that would happen. Obviously a good strategy would be to ship aggressively early on to establish your lead, and take it from there.
