Hopefully Carol will be able to break away from the "Boutique" in order to attend. I have no problems with any of the potential attendees listed here.

I don't know if you have a day in mind to meet, but Wednesday is probably the least busy tournament day, with generally registration and some side events being played. Thursday is also not as busy, but the Calcutta is in the morning, then main event starts in the afternoon, with 1st round + rebuys as far as the main tournament goes. Before the Calcutta? It would definitely put a firm time limit on the forum, but Howard and others may be busy finalizing the Calcutta draw and do backgammon players actually get up before 11 am? Depends on how much late night activity the night before I think. :-)

I am trying to introduce the clock at the USBL club here in Phoenix, no time-out penalty but just to familiarize the players with the clock, ie. 1 set of dice, hit your plunger to end move, etc. As people get used to the clock, or if we have more experienced players, I may use the penalty.
