Catchup #4 - Picking on MCG

I'm sure we'll soon get around to a full on cube discussion on weak players cubing stronger players and vice versa but for now I'm happy to pick on Ray.
Ray says: Now they get an advantage ... say 5 pips in a 70 pip race ... Itching to prove that they are getting good they talk themselves into doubling, BECAUSE their opponent is such a fantastic player!
I've often talked myself into cubing v. opponents of equal or greater strength when it's an actual double lol (position posted the pipcounts are 71 to 76, and the EPC slightly favors the player being cubed) I didn't use the db so whether this is a technical cube or not I don't care, the point is in a position with no skill left I say the weaker player should double any position which falls into the borderline category. It has the overall effect of hopefully shortening the match which is undisputably in his favor. Who cares if your opponent knows it's a take, you're 70 freaking percent!
