Is BGO an Elitist Society?

Nicely done, Jason! I will try to remember to NOT put you as part of a seeded pair. I always remember your success in getting to our finals and then next time winning the L.A. tournament. But, like you I am hesitant to post my BG opinions, unless they have to do with running tournaments, rulings, events, clocks etc --things that I am one of the MFIC's in those areas.
I might rather catch Sax, Fogerlund, or Wiggins, or even directly email Stick or Niel for BG questions. But, if I can get over this shyness to expose my lack of expertise (at best I am a low level OPEN player), I might get lots of good advice.
My problem is lack of time to visit this site regularly. Typically, I come here when touted by Nunez or Stick or Coolrey or Riles for a particluar subject and then look at other threads as well. Ah well, catching ones-self with our own zipper is painful and who wants to do that? How else to improve but through discussions with the "elites"? and reading and recording/analysis --but then who's to explain Snowie's "better" plays/cubes logic?
