In Response To: I know I shouldn't generalize, but... (Chuck Bower)

Nobody was happy when Kit sold his site. There are more issues than you're seeing too. You've obviously seen the problems with them paying the host and it being down for ... almost two days I think it was? You're now seeing that nobody can post. [haven't really figured that one out, except there's no room for more files which makes no sense whatsoever] Do any of you also know if 'you' type in gammoline.com or any extension of it it tosses certain IPs to gammonempire? I haven't figured out the logic behind it yet as to what IPs exactly as I only 'own' so many machines around the globe but it does occur.

I agree w/Chuck completely, it's a dismal state for real online money play. It has been an idea of mine for some time now to start a backgammon server for real money play and address all the issues these sites have now, why people won't play there. The problem is that's so much work ... I have a couple of people already who would help me with it, esp. given that it's an automatic money maker, but I haven't tried to tackle it yet. The only real problem I am not sure how much I could do about it are the rakes. The rakes have to be a certain % for a site to be able to accept Neteller, Paypal, Firepay, w/e ... I'll have to look into that more closely. As for the rest on your list (and even more you didn't list) I have a solution for everything and I'm not sure why someone hasn't already done it.
