In Response To: Intro to Clocks for Newbies in Pittsburgh (Rich Munitz)

I talked to Rob, also, but not on this specific proposal. I told him I'd bring my three GTIIs and put two of them on the front table, available all weekend for anyone who would like to try use one. (No signout -- borrower's honor.) I'll have them programmed for the most common match lengths and have instructions on the bottom for selecting the one with desired settings.

For your proposed practice matches, are you going to have some kind of realistic time controls or is it mainly to get used to the mechanics? If the former, what settings?
