In Response To: The Michael Edge/Al Faller Positions and Sequence with GNU diagrams (Bill Riles)

...against the 2-1 slot (which actually happened, as Ray has already verified).

This reminds me of the 6-2 response to 2-1 split, where (without looking) 13/7, 6/4 is a contender, I believe.

One significant difference is that the 6-2 unstacks the heavy midpoint whereas Al's 2-1 unstacks the light 8-point.

BTW, I'd be an idiot to claim this is technically best when Stick has done 143 gazillion bot rollouts and will be able to tell me how wrong it is to the 14th decimal place. However, it had Ray scratching his head (and so flustered that he made an illegal move :). I doubt the canned "correct" response would have done that.
