Understanding Gnubg MWC

In the beginning of a long match you'd have to make an error to lose 0,079% mwc whereas 0,145% mwc is not so much to give up late in the match like for instance in dmp.
True 'dat, although in this case they were both moves from the first page of the first game, so Matt's explanation probably explains what I was seeing.
And this is probably obvious, but let me make sure I understand this, and I hope somebody will correct me if I'm wrong. EMG does not take into account the match score, so the same move from the same position will always produce the same EMG numbers but could have vastly different MWC numbers depending on the match score. Kind of like in basketball nobody will take much note of those two free throws you missed in the first half but those two free throws you miss with 3 seconds on the clock and trailing by one point may be more memorable, eh?
