In Response To: Why do like records play like records? (Matt Cohn-Geier)

Case 1: Standard Swiss where players with equal records are paired each round. After four rounds 1/16 of the field will have 4 losses and 1/4 have 3 losses.

Case 2: Undefeated players play unvictorious players each round with undefeated players always winning. (This is POSSIBLE for a random draw, though obviously very unlikely.) Then 1/2 the field are 4-0 while the other half are 0-4.
