not every beginning player learns the basic plays, 31, 42, 61, 65.

There was a guy we tried to teach who took the concept of splitting the back men to new heights by playing 31 as 13-10 and 24-23. We pretty quickly gave up since he wasn't interested in putting in even the minimal work to try to grasp the simplest concepts.
