224 White has a (much) better board and leads in the race. I don't double. Maybe it's a beaver, but I'll just go with N+T.
225 14/8 likely leads to putting more checkers on the acepoint. Clearing the 8-point bears in faster meaning more gammons. 8/4, 8/6 looks like the 70's play but (first addition) Advanced BG came out in '82.... I'll go with that.
226 14/8, 7/5. I don't see any upside on leaving the outfield checker back there. Spares on the 5-point are good. Spares on the 7-point are bad unless you're trying to blow opp's timing -- not here.
