Ray, your statements are right on ASSUMING the bot is always right. You can gain by doubling the bot "early" if it's definition of early is "wrong." People like MCG assume they are better than the bots in certain situations and they believe they are "exploiting" the weaknesses of the bot the same as they would a human.
I know it has been proven that some humans are better than the bots in certain positions, but I don't know that I've ever seen anyone prove that over the long term they can outplay the bot (as proven either by results, not rollouts, because you can hardly use the bot to tell you the bot is wrong and assume that is very accurate).
