: sequence. When my opponent takes it's equity is greater than -1. When he drops it's -1 so having not a market looser is not a reward. The sequence would be better if I had doubled, but a market looser gains equity.

Isn't it the same 0.2 (assume the position is static to make reasoning easier). Where did I lost something (other than if I overshoot, but that is usually far less than you gain by doubling)
