In the cases where a bot says you were more than a 100% favourite (GnuBG: over +50%), it's a strange figure intuitively and far from elegant, but I wouldn't call it noise, it's more like a spread around the mean. I'm also pretty sure there's no mathematical bias, so that figures should be closer to 50-50 than what the bot reports.

Bots could cap the value at 100% and 0%, but then if you add up figures from many equivalent matches, the average wouldn't be correct anymore.

To see the problem, suppose two players differ wildy in their bg skills and play a series of very long matches too. Assume the best player is expected to win 99% of these matches.

Now obviously in every actual match, it won't come out as 99% vs. 1%. Sometimes it will be 95% vs. 5% f.i. when the match was relatively short. And sometimes it will be... 103% vs. -3%, usually when the match took longer than usual.
