"Meteorologic" summer begins June 1. Astronomical summer begins June 22+-.

Highlight of my backgammon summer is Michigan Summer Champs (starting day after US Independence Day this year). Backgammon summer ends this year in Madison, WI on Labor Day Weekend. Hope to see all of you at both these tourneys.

Indy 500 (Mem. Day weekend, still in Spring :), US Open Golf (Fathers' Day Weekend). Hey, if 30 year olds can be couch potatoes, so can we pentagenarians.
