What's your board going to look like if you hang around for the longshot shot? OK, I can answer that as can everyone else: not good. I don't want to screw up what racing chances remain. (Take a look at Blue's immediate 5-5 after candidate plays. And there are more. On the 10-point blue doesn't need immediate doubles -- just get one in and one off and wait for the matched sets.)
