I like your adjustments of S to take Trice --> Kleinman. When I've tried in the past (without the adjustment) my results were way off.

As John has shown me (and all of us who were paying attention), Ward (when applicable, i.e. not a lot of wastage and not too short of a race) --> Kleinman works well without requiring such an adjustment.

There are fallow fields remaining in race evaluation methodology.
