In Response To: Controversy in the Chou (Phil Simborg)

It occurred to me just now that one way to deal with the situation would be to set up a second board, and play the game out twice, once with the hit and once without the hit. MCG could for example play the game out without the hit and you could play the game out with the hit. That way only your own finances are affected by your decision to bend the rules. This is logistically cumbersome but it would demonstrate the depth of your commitment to being as fair as possible to all parties concerned.
