Well, you are certainly costing your Calcutta owner equity by allowing your opponent to change one LEGAL play to another (better one) after he has legally ended his turn.

I agree completely with Phil (note the date and time). I would kick myself hard for making such a mental error, but I would never even consider suggesting to my opponent that I be allowed to fix it after I ended my turn. I'd expect my opponent to similarly own up to their mistake. The rules clearly do not even make a late correction an option.

Money play does permit settlements, and so while there is no legal basis for a correction of the checker play error, agreeing to a wash as was done, is perfectly legal. But for tournament play, the situation is clear.
