In Response To: Controversy in the Chou (Rich Munitz)

"Something related occurred in Madison when I tapped "en passant" (and maybe moved -- I can't remember to minute detail) Rob Maier's blot and then in my rush to punch the clock failed to put the checker on the bar. Rob simply put it there for me after his clock started. "

There is a difference.

I agree this situation is different and note that many of the players in the chou (basically, those who were arguing the loudest) would have wanted to play the game out had the situation been reversed.
