Controversy in the Chou

First of all, the cheering was inappropriate in a non-consulting game. There should have been a penalty for this violation. Then as I understand it, the player uses the violation of his OWN partners as justification to request a rememdy for his OWN mistake.
So the precident is that partners may make noises which alert the player that this was a good roll. Then if the player fails to find the right move, the voilation of the partners is used as a reason to enforce a penalty on the innocent team. Instead of the violation for cheering drawing a penalty as would be appropriate, it draws a reward.
I'm sorry this incident wasn't resolved with a little integrety. Please excuse me for not wanting to play with these pirates.
