In Response To: Controversy in the Chou (David Rockwell)

After reading the other threads, let me be clear about something. Phil can correct me if I am wrong. The people complaining about the misplay, would not have granted the other team the same favor they were asking for themselves. Given the chance, they would have enforced the rules if it was to their benefit. As Phil mentioned, he wouldn't ask for this favor. But, if he did, it would be denied. This is not a principled group of people, other than Phil and a small number of others.

How do people feel about sportsmanship if you know it will only be applied one way?
