In Response To: Controversy in the Chou (Phil Simborg)

When Matt continued to protest that the play should stand, I offered to pay his losses as well.

My point was that a wash was already pretty generous and well more than a fair offer. By offering to pay a point we weren't really resolving the situation, just saying, "OK, well, you whined loud enough, I guess you win a point."
