Divide (95%) confidence interval by 1.96 to get individual j.s.d.'s.

Square those two, sum, and take the square root.

Divide that into the difference in equities for the two candidate rollouts, giving j.s.d. significance.

0.016 / { sqrt[ (0.011)^2 + (0.010)^2 ] / 1.96 } = 2.1 j.s.d.'s.

At least that's the pragmatist's method. The stat pros may have one or more bones to pick with this.
