Thanks for the kind words, Perry. It has been a pleasure to see happy people on the tournament and to welcome such a big and strong field of Americans.

The event schedule will go back to a day more, so expect the tournament to be even better next year. Antonia will be back on staff, so we will be one additional staffer and that will allow me to get a bit more than 7 hours sleep in total during the tournament.

I just love the game and it seems like I have an unlimited source of energy to invest in what I love to do. The last song of the band expressed very well my relationship to backgammon and tournament organisation: "I´ve been loving you too long to stop now" (Otis Redding).

I enjoyed the tournament greatly and seeing Coolrey become emotional at the awards will be an unforgettable memory to me.

I hope to see you soon again and to welcome even more players on the WBA tournaments.
