I certainly hope that I can attend the Santa Fe tournament. I just started a new job after another period of unemployment, so will need to rebuild savings a bit.

For those wondering, I was not able to have a Phoenix ABT event in 2010 make economic sense. Hopefully the economy will continue to improve, or I will be able to locate a venue that has comfortable amenities for the players while affordable for the TD. I want to specifically thank MFIC, CoolRey, CJC and Lynda Clay for their counsel and sharing of information to someone who was mostly "clueless" about the true costs of running a big tournament.

BTW, if you are planning a trip to Phoenix, and this is the most beautiful time of year here, it's once again safe to check baggage to Sky Harbor airport,(http://www.kpho.com/news/21574433/detail.html) so don't worry about your Taki Board that won't fit in the overhead or under the seat.
