When you bluff, aren't you supposed to be representing a certain hand (or class of hands)? What kind of hand would Joe be representing that he would expect to be able to pull off the bluff?

It seems like the risk is twofold: Booth risks Joe actually hitting the flush (which occurred) and he risks Joe NOT bluffing. Maybe that is why you say "I'm not a huge fan..."

And one more thing. Could Joe actually be playing to hit a different hand and in actuality be bluffing hitting the flush?
