I believe I said that. (Else someone is using my name without my permission.)

Maybe 'convention' is the wrong word. 'Custom'? 'Default'?

In the least it's my observation, both here and at GammonU, that the White checkers are always up and the Blue ones down. Sometimes it's the White side with the decisions, though.

It's not a big deal with me, and I believe I said 'suggestion'.
