I like the idea of three rounds of 11-pts for the Super-32, followed by the last two rounds of 13 points.

Our format is Double-Elimination and Progressive Consolation. I like the suggestion of 7-points for the OPEN Consolation --even being a progressive format, it still runs too long for the weekend event --moving it to 7-points (from 9 points) will still be better than a typical LastChance (non-progressive) at 5 points and provide better accommodation for getting the event over earlier on Sunday (before 11pm as was this time --although it was exacerbated by allowing the two finalists to have dinner before playing).

As for going back to 2/12, I think that makes sense. Players need to be reasonably aware of their "reserve time" in order to not get into time trouble by too much thinking during the final stages of the match.
