"What does 'match play performance mean?"

Yes, the XG help files are very helpful here:

"Match Play Performance Performance: based on the results of the match played"

Perhaps Xavier can clarify how this is actually calculated.

But whatever it is, you've got it. It is probably just a fancy phrase that means "luck".
