UBK: Rather than just a straight vote right away I think it may be more instructive, though slower, if there was a day of discussion first before the vote.

Could you elaborate on how you think that might work? Position comes up, and instead of voting, you talk about the key features and give your candidate plays, but don't settle on your final vote?
