Exactly, and that is why you typically always stay. This is a different discussion point. Is it worth staying if the bg costs you the match?
I think you absolutely leave in this circumstance. Two Giants of Backgammon wholeheartedly agreed at the time. One was the beneficiary of the play. The other had the position described by the beneficiary, in my presence, immediately after the game and agreed the player should have run.
I'm confident at some lopsided score it may well be right to stay, but here the player would have been down 8-12 Crawford.
And in Jason's case (and I wasn't going to call any names but he identified himself) Jason actually led, maybe like 14-9/15 PC, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
