It's always refreshing to see the person who comes up with the idea also being the first to offer to implement it.

My limited experience with databases has taught me that usually the key issue (and probably simultaneously the most difficult issue) is to have the right search indexes. That definitely appears to be the case with this project.

I don't have the perfect answer, but some kind of game type breakdown including early game, blitz, race, one-sided holding game, two-sided holding game, backgame, single sided priming game, prime-vs-prime, etc. would be valuable, even if not rigorously defined. Kit Woolsey made use of this in his Cube Reference Positions but, although creating a commendable and valuable volume of positions, he merely scratched the surface.
