NFL stands for "National Field goal kicking League"

In Response To: NFL stands for "National Field goal kicking League" (Stick)

Gamelog shows time that the play started (i.e. center snap here). Of course the gamelogs are occasionally wrong... Previous play (snapped with 8 sec on clock) was an incomplete pass ("short right" direction). It's possible that that play took only 2 seconds (your scenario) but 4 seconds seems more likely to me.
