There are now 3 ABT events scheduled for next January...

It doesn't seem that long ago that there was only one US tournament in January. (What I'm remembering was Charlotte, before NY was rejuvenated.) And there might have been years where there was NONE. The weather is an issue, IMO, but I guess there are two ways of looking at that:

Pessimist: worst travel month of the year. Highest chance of flight delays/cancellations.

Optimist: what the hell else are you going to do on a dark, wintry day??
