Don't be too down about your misplay.

I think 100/100 would play to 12 here, noting that noone can make a sufficiently accurate estimate of the trade between extra losses as opposed to extra G wins if you play to 5.

It's clear to most that making 12p will win the most.

It is also clear that maximizing contact probably will win more Gs.

It is far from clear that maximizing contact will win enough Gs to balance the extra losses.

I am certainly not going to pretend that I would have made the right play, despite the GG score.
