Graphics card

I looked at that config and in particular the choices for video cards. If you choose no video card at all (i.e. the "install your own" option) you save a whopping $674! I think their cheapest option is the GT 220 which saves you all but about $40 of that $674.

Serious wargamers may need that card. Backgammon players can get by just fine with typical on-board graphics. I'm guessing the motherboard configured with this system doesn't have onboard graphics (high end mobos usually don't) but still, a $30 graphics card should do just fine.

It's good to know someone who trusts such a site. There are several of these high-end builders with less than stellar reputations. They build things on the cheap, and that includes poor customer service. Apparently this company (digitalstorm) is a cut above those. At least you and Ken have a high opinion of them, and that counts.
