Why use clocks?

In Response To: Why use clocks? (adrianov)

The players would start with a very long reserve time (10 hrs) and they would use the clock for completing the moves.

No need to use 10hrs settings, 2min per point and 15 sec per move is already (too) slow time control! ;)
