Would you change the 'standard' (in this case 'primary') reserve time? For example, instead of the initial 2 minutes per matchpoint X matchlength, make it 2 minutes per matchpoint X matchlength minus some number of minutes?

The entire impetus for my question has to do with total (wall clock) time consumed, which in most cases (typical weekend tournaments in US) is the important consideration, IMO.
