I think this overstates the case. After seeing the two examples in this thread, I remembered that I've encountered TG/T before at 4a4a OTB. I don't think it's all that uncommon.

TG/T at 11a11a, on the other hand, is another story. I think that that's very rare. Even TG/T at 7a7a is something that I don't recall encountering OTB, though maybe it has happened to me and I just didn't notice.
