In Response To: NY Ruling Dispute (Bill Davis)

If in the course of the match one player, without prior notice, from time to time, moves his dice without picking them up, and the other player does not object, but in this instance, goes on to roll before the opponents dice are up, as you say, common sense should prevail and no penalty shouuld be imposed for not giving notice.

I also think that the first time this happens, the offending player should be warned, and no penalty incurred except that if and when it happens again. I would be in favor of amending the rules to include this clarification.

The word "disadvantage" is too general in my view. If the intent was for the play to stand, then the wording should say so. I would like to see this clarified in the rules.
