Rynell's Broadcasts Were Excellent!

I haven't watched remotely every time live tournament matches have been available, but this is the best I've seen. Reasons:
1) Video resolution was very good. I could see the dice spots easily except when the dice were on the part of the board with bad reflection/glare.
2) (When available) the scoreboard was easily viewable.
3) There were a LOT of matches and the dead time between matches was minimal. Someone obviously made a strong effort to find matches to telecast and the players were cooperating. It was great to get the early matches (e.g. late morning doubles) along with the prime-time matches. Great job you guys!
I only noticed a few lags mentioned. (I didn't watch on Sunday so maybe it was different then.) Some matches had none that I can recall. MCG's match with Bill Phipps had the most that I saw, but maybe the internet transmission software got confused when Matt was burning so much clock between dicerolls. :)
I noticed someone mentioning the use of a polarizing filter to eliminate the reflection/glare and Rynell asked if they are available for webcams. If not a specific one for the particular webcam in use, it should be jury-riggable. I know I have at least a couple laying around with my old (~obsolete) film cameras. Another solution is to set up the board+camera with respect to the lighting but that likely isn't so easy given the way ceiling lights are typically situated in hotel banquet rooms.
Bottom line: great (volunteer) effort by USBGF and individuals involved. Your work is greatly appreciated by regulars and hopefully will bring other curious/interested persons into the game.
