0.90-mingw 20111003 . I don't think that matters. Maybe this is clearer. It's correct, as far as I know:

GNU Backgammon cube decision rollouts have a "view statistics" feature. Checker play rollouts do not have this feature.

Before starting your cube rollout, turn bearoff truncation off. Choose your rollout length well. You will not be able to stop and restart or stop and extend the rollout and still have access to the "view statistics" feature.

When the rollout ends, or you end it by clicking the "stop" button in the rollout window, this is your one chance to see the statistics. Click the "view statistics" button in the rollout window. You must do this before you close the rollout window. Once you have closed the rollout window, the "view statistics" button will no longer appear in the rollout window when you reopen the window. There is no other time or way to access the statistics, and they are not saved.
