I'd play 13/8 13/7 here. The main alternative seems to be 18/7. If we were further ahead in the race or had a better board, I might play 18/7, but here it's pretty disastrous to get hit after 18/7 since White has a 3-to-1 board advantage. If we're hit after 13/8 13/7, our bar-point anchor furnishes some protection. Of course we'll have to clear the bar point sometime, but we have some time to wait for doublets or at least to try to build our board first.
